#57 No justice like clown justice!
Tuesday, February 6th, 2007AND WE’RE BACK!
Holy crap it’s been a little over a month since I stopped updating and I’m happy to say The Devil and Ted is returning to twice weekly updates as of TODAY! You may have noticed a bit of difference with the art, no I’ve not mutated into some crazy cartooning master, that’s the handy work of my new collaborator Howard Russell! We’ve joined together like Voltron to become one killer writer/artist robot that can defeat crazy blue space elves and their ineffectual witches! (seriously one time the witches plan to destroy Voltron involved stealing the mice that inhabit the princess’ palace… wtf??)
I want to welcome Howard to the team and honestly thank him because he single handedly brought The Devil and Ted back from the dead! So all of you should be thanking him too. I hope this is the start of a long collaboration because frankly I think Howie’s work is aces and I think it fits DnT perfectly.
So from here on out start showing Howard some love and let him know how bad ass his art is! I’ll keep writing as long as he keeps drawing so we’ll hopefully churn out some sweet new strips for quite a while.
Also in the future both Howie and I have side projects that we’ll be filling the other tiny bit of our free time with so keep an eye out for those, we’ll have a link section just for our work on the left there after a while.
But for now sit back and relax and enjoy this installment of the Devil and Ted!
p.s. There will also probably be some gussy’ing up of the site at some point in the future so don’t be frightened! Change is good!

oh god this is so not the usual DnT!! I gotta say I rly miss the old devil design. It was rly cool but I’ll survive..now Howard is a great cartoonist and the Devil is still alive so welcome back Steve

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, the original DnT had its own feel to it. I only hope that with the new transition it will move forward to new heights. I really liked DnT when I first started reading it. And I was kinda disappointed when I heard it was retiring. That is when I felt I had to pitch in and try to convince Steve to keep it going. And I was excited to hear when Steve agreed to let me work on the project. With me doing th art and Steve writing, it will give Steve some extra time to pursue his other projects and ideas as well as take a breather. He has a great imagination and comes up with funny stuff. Hopefully this will lead to a long prosperous strip and perhaps in the future a shot toward Adult Swim or something. I always felt that DnT had that kinda potential.
