#50 - The escape
Thursday, November 23rd, 2006Sorry for the delay but here’s the next installment!
For all my American readers HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
For all my readers outside the US, what the hell are you doing shouldn’t you be working or something!
Ok I’ve gotta go eat some turkey!
–Edit–
Woo, so I had my fill of food today. HOORAY GLUTTONY! Anyway I didn’t even think about it when I posted this morning but 50 strips! WOOT! This is officially the longest running project I’ve ever done! Though quite honestly it was that around strip 10 or so
. Anyway I want to thank everyone who keeps coming back update to update and everyone who leaves me words of encouragement. I appreciate you all.
Thanks,
Steve

Just surfed in last week while I was “Working”. Comic is hillarious. Wish there was more of it so I could kill more of my workday.
Have a good one

Bah. Don’t Sir me.
It makes me feel old. And I’m 20. Not old, like someone who’s 30. That’s old, older than fire. But not half as fun. Things that are old aren’t half as funny as things that are on fire.

Damn, considering I’m 7 years older than you I suppose I won’t ever call you Sir again! Ya damn whippersnapper!

Pshaw. My job is collections. People don’t pay their phonebill, and I gotta call them. Due to my company getting bought out, my last day’s Friday. So I really feel no compulsion to put forth anything more than “minimal” effort.
Believe me, about 750 people are REALLY happy that I’m not doing my job right now. Rofl.

Lol! I’ve not worked in collections but I’ve been in my share of call centers so I can understand the compulsion to not do anything
Especially when you getting canned. Hope you don’t have a problem finding a new gig.

Yeah, I’ve got a new one lined up already. Something my parents called “College”. I dunno. It sounds an awful lot like more schoolin. But my dad said it involves alot of wet T-Shirt contests, and they’re paying for it. Only catch is I can’t live in my apartment anymore. Oh well. I’ll go for parental financed room, board, & sex any day.
